A BLUE Lamp Trust scheme seeks to help protect vulnerable people from becoming victims of cybercrime.

The scheme, much like the Bobby Scheme, provides home visits, giving advice and guidance about basic IT security. The police-vetted advisors offer a free home visit to residents of Hampshire who are: over 65 years old, disabled (over 18), or previous victims of cybercrime. If you, or anybody you know, is eligible (based on the criteria above) and would benefit from a Cyber Bobby referral, please enquire via the Blue Lamp Trust website at bluelamptrust.org.uk/cyber-bobby

A SERIOUS incident resulting in a death of a woman and an injury of a man recently occurred at the Cart and Horses in Kings Worthy. If you are a witness contact the Police. KING'S Worthy Community Shed is selling hedgehog homes to help the woodland animals recover and survive this winter. The newly-made home cost £25 each and are available to purchase by messaging the Kings Worthy Community Shed on Facebook or online at www.worthys-shed.uk.

THE Breakfast Kitchen at St. Mary's Church in Kings Worthy will host a breakfast morning in the Audsley Room on Saturday, November 5 at 8.30am. A WORTHYS Festival wash-up meeting and AGM will be held on Wednesday, November 16 at 8pm from the Worthys Sports & Social Club. The meeting will be held at the top of the car park at Eversley Park. The event is for those who are keen to see another one-day music festival in the Worthys in 2023, or for those who would like to support the festival.
